That is great news.
My 85 came with a kill switch. It is a pain to push the button in order to start it every time but I know no one is going to figure out how to start it and drive away. The switch activates a relay that allows the starter to work. The person that I bought the pup from lost it a couple times and had the kill switch installed.

Great outcome Henle. I have mentioned this before but those diesel emblems/decals are a sure way of attracting thieves.

Good point, soot fart; I hadn't thought of that. I have pulled all the emblems off but I do have a biodiesel sticker. I guess it's maybe time for it to go. But such a pain. I'd been thinking the P'up was pretty safe -- ancient truck, club installed, manual transmission –– but now I'm spending as much time thinking about security as if I were driving a 97 Honda Accord!
