Isuzu Diesel

Something interesting I saw. Isuzu still sells all/most of their original diesels including the 4LE1.

If your diesel ever goes out, I'm guessing all components or a new one wouldn't be to hard to get

I've been through this list before, and I only found industrial (stationary, low power, low RPM) engines. Did you see something that might work for a vehicle?

Not necessarily. Looking at the page, they did mention something about flywheels, which makes me assume it can be hooked with a manual transmission. It also says they can go up to 2860 rpm for the 4LE1 model in which they have sharp drop, that makes think that there is a governer limiting the upper rpms. plus the page mention these work on forklifts and have skid plates so who know.
