Spotted & met another beige Pup owner

Postby kanniedood22 » Sun Jun 30, 2019 9:46 am

Saw this Isuzu by a second hand furniture store same day I went to pick up mine from the spray shop. So I stopped & inquired: found the owner inside.

The uncle* said he's had it for 17 years. It's a 1.5 litre petrol. Odometer stopped working somewhere in the 300k's, he reckoned that it should be at 400k now. Looks very original, except for the larger side mirrors. He told me he use to have 2 2.2 diesel ones which he used permanently in 4wd down in the mines. He called them kanniedood. :D I wrote down IsuzuPup's url for him.

What to me was a very awesome discovery is the fact that his rims/hubcaps are exactly 100 percent like mine! Which confirms that the white & silver rims/hubcaps are original.

*In Afrikaans we respectively call males that are quite a few years older (roughly 10 years+) than ourselves 'oom' which in English is uncle. It's also used for your father's brother.
