Oops, thanks Paul. I see now that I posted the wrong link, but you found the right one anyway. The cable operated fast-idle looks to be the only external difference compared to the '84 model.

I have just made a post in the 'Diesel How To' section with a list of the Diesel KiKi pump assembly numbers as assigned to each year of P'ups and others. Here it is:

viewtopic.php?f=36&t=26306

Be aware that the P'up pumps are all very much alike and usually can be interchanged.

Yes, the fast idle is some different but both work just as well.

Good question. Aw far as I know there is only one turbo pump for the Isuzu P'up & Trooper. It is 104740-1110. I will add this to the listing.

Thanks - -

Looking at the picture I think the control lever assembly can be bend back if the metal is not broken.

Those control lever assemblies are made of thick gauge metal.

Is hard to tell from the picture if is only bent.

Like Paul said the collar is probably seized. So you need a new 9mm head.

If memory serves well I think I have a brand new 9mm head that I don't need any more ( I have to look for it) that works with that pump. If you want it let me know.

But you need to remove the rotor head from the pump. Not an easy task... Too many parts that can fall off.

I would remove the control lever assembly and see if you can straight it out and then you will need a new 9 mm head.

Please let us know what you find once you remove the control lever assembly.
