CNG honda

http://automobiles.honda.com/civic-gx/ I've never been big on honda but i ran across this probably 6 months ago and just thought it was neat. A CNG honda, and you can get your own filling station for your house 8) . If I was looking for a new car, this would be a cool one to look at. Enjoy. pup daddy

When's the next meet?

The last meet was a blast, should we wait an entire year to do it again or would people like to get together sooner?

Re: Help! Emission problem

where are you located?

If you are in NC, 1badluv seems to be the resident carb expert. You might try to pm him for a few pointers. I'm a diesel guy so I'm not going to be any help to you.

good luck

Re: another engine swap question

Are you very good with vehicle work? If so why not just turbo the motor you already have. Get a mega-squirt controller (or an aftermarket ecu if you have lots-o-$ ) and you will have something very unique then.

Re: another engine swap question

If you happen to find an impluse rs and if i remember right all rs's were AWD, do not disassemble it. I will be glad to take it considering the AWD's only had about 800 in the US.

Re: Brainstorming on the Turbo idea...

How do you get fresh air into the engine? I'm assuming this isn't a sealed system b/c you would eventually burn out all the oxygen available and the engine would stop. This is a great idea, a super pressurized egr system! :D I tried to use some of the driving habit changes last night in my wifes 6cy...

Re: DIY Hybrid Retrofit - just an idea, so far...

Why not just attach a pup transfer case and trans to a 2wd pup, leave off the front driveshaft. Then bolt you electric motor to the front transfer case output. Put the transfer case in 2wd, you run just as an original pup only plus a few hunded pounds. Crank up the engine, put it in 4 hi and you can...
