I am understanding you got rear ended by someone in a rental car, is this correct? If so you must file a claim against the insurance company that covers the car that he was in. That is the first step. DO NOT CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY AND FILE THE CLAIM. This is a waste of your time. They will find...

I have a friend with a 1989 4x4 with a 2.6. He looses about a quart of antifreeze in 5 hours of drive time. No signs of a leak . He also has a surging idle, not sure if that would be relate. He did throw a oxy sensor code and he will replace that. One question I have is can a bad radiator cap cause ...

I learned something interesting years ago from mechanic. He said a open thermostat or no thermostat can cause over heating. I guess the hot water passes thru the radiator too fast and the heat cannot transfer out of the water . Guess tthe water has to spend some time in the radiator
