Re: Making a Pup'bre (97 Hombre meets 81 Pup)

Update: 12- 17-14 HI Pupsters, Worked on the truck for a week straight. Re did almost all the wiring in the engine area, and it still started. Took off the cooling fan, based on 2 members here saying they seem to have no problems. I do have a radiator from a 4.3L motor, so that helps keep it...

Re: Oil Cooler Plane

Hello All, It is a few weeks old, but I wanted to display my "results." * I am learning every step of the way. This may be a really wrong way to go about this.* -disclaimer.... In theory and in practice 3 of the four persons helping my Pup' C223 along thought that the "square" he...

Re: Making a Pup'bre (97 Hombre meets 81 Pup)

Re: Oil Cooler Plane

Good call on cleaning out the cooler, coolant tubes. WILL DO.

Gonna give the oil to block part a little leveling. Glass and 800 grit. I will try my best to document the results.

Any one have a torque spec for the 4 bolts besides the obvious tighten, and say click. :P

Charge Light Relay

Hello All, I was able to find a pin notation here on the lovely forum, but alas the new replacement relay is not labled the same way. Maybe you have the shop manual, or just now how the numbers meet the colors? From Standard Parts Company -RY28 It comes with a little "foot" to attach to th...

Oil Cooler Plane

Hi Ya, I am getting ready to re install my oil cooler after replacing all 3 seals and my friend pointed out that the plane of the oil cooler, where the oil meets the block is not flat. A simple level appeared to have a little play. Wondering how much is this a matter? Should I bother to clean it up ...

Re: Making a Pup'bre (97 Hombre meets 81 Pup)

Update 11-28-14 Hello all in Pup land, I have fully launched into a new round of truck fixin'. The list is long enough to have multiple lists, but first off is a fairly annoying, and possibly fatal oil leak. Thought maybe a loose oil pan, or rear main, or dip stick tube?? Today we cleaned it all off...

Re: Making a Pup'bre (97 Hombre meets 81 Pup)
