Re: Losing Prime

Just my 2 cents

With your pump up bulb...and good fuel lines and clamps plus a low scale pressure gage...I'd isolate section by section.

I'm guessing the filter is the culprit.....although it is new

Probably from a pressure system not a sucking type as with the small diesel

Many possibilities

Re: Advice on fan thermostat

I used a 180 degree thermostat for a 350 cu inch GM

TEMP runs mid range...no over heat.....warms up quickly

Just my 2 cents....1981 LUV diesel...4WD

Re: Replacing clutch, advice?

Thst rear bearing needs a sleeve....before a new seal is installed The crankshaft is relatively soft and the seal wears a grove in the crankshaft I've had mine done twice.....tried to move the seal farther aft...did not work I'd have a professional shop do the work...due to the. Re: Losing Prime

As I suggested before I'd spray a soap mix or child's bubble stuff on the pressure side of the filter housing and fuel lines and look for bubbles You could also install a pressure gage to verify you have a solid pressure reading after pumping up the hand pump and able to watch the pressure decay. Bl...

Re: Losing Prime

Be aware of the Filter micron rating

I believe 10 is the OEM rating

IF GO SMALLER......will clog and restrict fuel flow......happened to me with a Duramax setup I tried
