Re: Glo-Plug Lite Random ---ON ?

Might be a weakening alternator. Mine did that. I figured it was feedback from the alternator getting bad. Replaced it and it went away.

Re: 86 diesel electric flasher

Thanks for the replies guys. I got a el13 from oreilly. I have bought the same one and used it in my Mazda protege5. Even swapped them to see if it was the flasher. Nope. It plugged right up and all. The one in it looks like that bottom picture. Black square. I thought it was thermal based off it fl...

86 diesel electric flasher

Once again, long time no post. Finally got my pup back on the road with the transmission swap/upgrade. My dads health has improved enough so he has been wanting to get some projects going again. My question is, I have LED blinkers on the back. The flasher unit on my pup works good but it's a thermal...

Re: Auto meter gauges and custom dash

Yes sir. I'm still around. Retired my pup from daily driving in February. The trans lost 5 teeth from 5th gear. We've been gathering parts for the upgrade trans. Since then I bought a new to me car for daily driving. 2002 mazda protege5. I love it. But I'm desperate to get the pup back. Have lists o...

Auto meter gauges and custom dash

Has anyone put aftermarket gauges in their diesel pup? I know I can get mechanical speedos but does our speedo cables fit? I'm going to build a custom dash for my truck in the next couple months and would like to have as much info as I could get Before staring this project. Speaking of which, has an...

Nice. You should come to Sparks in the Ozarks next year. There's only 3 isuzu trucks I've seen. 2 pups and 1 pickup.

Re: New Sound System with Pictures

I was rereading this thinking about all I did and realized I don't think I ever updated it. I changed the setup last pictured to 2 10"s and a 800 amp. Now it really hits. I went to Sparks of the Ozarks mini truck show and have got the project bug again so the pup is going back under the knife g...

Re: LONG time, no post

Good to be back. And I'm so glad to be riding in my truck again. At least I wasn't without a pup this whole time though. My dad was kind enough to lend me his spacecab for the past 7 months.

LONG time, no post

Hey guys and girls. Been a long time since I've been on. Had many things going on the past couple years. Both personal and business. Long and short is, after a 7 month absence and many overheating problems, I've got my truck back on the road. All new heater hoses, new thermostat housing, another new...

Re: pup fun in the snow

john, that would be a blast in the pup, but ive only got a couple ponds and the ice was barely thick enough to do that on a quad. if you can believe it, it was 80 here yesterday and its supposed to hit 70 today. last week it was 8 at night.
