Re: Grinds under load

im figuring it is my ujoint since when i pulled my driveshaft, one of the ujoints was frozen. Also no shroud lol, new radiator wouldn't bolt up with it. Unfortuntatly i cannot for the life of me take off the ujoints.

So new problem, while braking, the brake pedal will sometime go to the floor and sometimes won't. However it will always go to the floor with light pumping. Happens while car is on or not, also brake light will turn on when hitting the ground

Grinds under load

Recently my truck will start making a grinding noise while under load. I've tried checking to see if it would reproduce the noise with the clutch in or neutral but it doesn't so it only happens while accelerating. I've already changed the engine and transmission oil recently, so i doubt thats it. An...

Re: Choke Question

I checked all hoses, all, brand new, all following the vacuum diagram, to the best of my knowledge at least, the thing i thought was weird was as soon as my dash lights wouldn't go off, my truck started running all funky

Re: Choke Question

You're right, i was just being dumb. I'm not very knowledgable with carbs. it was just when i closed the choke by hand when warm, it would run tons better. It makes me think theirs an issue with the fuel air mixture. running way too lean. If i remember correctly, a computer controls it with these hi...

Choke Question

Recently my truck has been acting funny, as mentioned in my previous post about the car not understanding its on without giving it a lot of gas. Well while i was checking the choke, i realized its not closing. i'll rev the engine and it will open but won't close, causing it to stall or almost stall....

car not understanding its on

For some reason after I start my truck it won't act like its running. For example all the dash lights stay on, the engine will not idle without dying, and the heater won't blow. Any ideas what is happening? Or does anyone know what tells the truck that its running? Note I can drive with it on the hi...
