Re: Troopers to P'UP

Welcome to the site. You'll find this is more like your tractor than your TDI. ;)

Re: New member in NY

I went back through the email I got when I registered and read how to post a picture. I don't recall that being part of any email from the site. I may need to review what's going out. Oh, the email had a link to the FAQ page, so I guess that's probably what you were reading. Instructions for postin...

Please please please don't use a "picture site". Just add them to your post here. But since you're just here to sell, I'd save them for the for-sale listing, though.

Re: New member in NY

Hi, Joe. Nice of you to introduce yourself, even though you're here only for your friend. It's a really kind thing that you're doing. And for an outsider, you already know a lot about the market for these trucks.

Re: C223 headers from Downunderyank

With all due respect, I don't think we can assume these headers don't preform better than the stock manifold. I sold the first of four sets of headers to Mac at a discount so he could install them and make sure they fit our US model pups which he did. As far as performance testing, I'd have preferr...

That's awesome! Can you tell if it actually helps the performance? I'm sure it FEELS stronger because of the sound. ;)

I think the same issue happens on the rear of the crankshaft, and the camshaft. Good info.

Re: N/A P'up Turbo Conversion Photos

The radiator fits perfectly with minor modifications. 1970-1973 Datsun 240z $116 You had my attention, since diesel P'up radiators are "unobtanium". Then I remembered (I think) your truck is a '91 (?). I need to throw that in here, just so nobody will think you're saying this radiator wil...

Re: Won’t go over 50ish

From what I've read, 65 mph is about all you should expect for the 4-speed 4x4 diesel. So you're not that far off from "normal". As always, start with the easy (cheap) stuff. Do you know how long it's been since the fuel filter was replaced? And unrelated, but REALLY important-- Do you kno...

Re: New member

Hi, Chase. Welcome to the site. I wonder if your P'up has any prior history on this site. That might help with troubleshooting. I'll do some searching when I have time.

Really? From where? The only source I know of for rocker arms and pushrods is the used/salvage market.
