I worked on the Honda Auto Techline for about 10 of my 23 years there. We had the same problem on mid-90's Civics. The front end of the crankshafts were "whipping" up and down causing a knocking noise. The "fix" was extra thick bearings, thicker than the thickest standard spec b...

In response to your PM: The most current setting of the float is 17mm in the closed position as performed in accordance with weber instructions. Once that is established, you then want the needle to move only 2mm as the float drops. First establish the 17mm with the one tab and then the 2mm setting...
